David Buffamoyer

The Buffamoyer Insurance Agency was started in 1986 by David Buffamoyer, a graduate of Clemson University and a life long South Carolinian. David spent four years as a professional baseball player in the New York Yankee organization. Following his tenure with the Yankees, David returned to Clemson as an undergraduate assistant to the famous baseball legend, Bill Wilhem. After leaving the baseball arena, David began his career with Nationwide Insurance. He has dedicated most of his working life to the insurance industry and now has three offices to better serve the community. David volunteers with the TL Hanna baseball program and provides free instructional clinics for youth programs in the upstate and surrounding areas. He and his family live in Anderson and enjoy raising, training, and showing performance horses.
